Over the weekend we decided that we needed to finally plant the garden. Between our trip to Peru and me getting really sick for the couple of weeks after we came home nothing got done and we are more than a little behind!
So, we finally got it in!
We planted tomatoes, peppers, chiles, carrots, green onions, radishes, green beans, various squashes, corn, and watermelon.

You can't tell, but the photographer had a great time getting involved too!
One quick note-I was very disappointed to learn that my kids don't know "The Prophet Said to Plant a Garden!" So-guess what we will be singing at FHE on Monday? ;-)
We are very excited to see the fruits of our labors and to start rotating the crops. We have it set up to plant another section a few weeks later, harvest, and then replant. At the very least the kids will learn to be obedient to the things that they have been commanded to do!
